Gaikai is awesome. And it is pretty much dead-on in time if you look at the netbook sales.
The only problem I see is the increased latency for online games, which probably will make any FPS or sensitive MMO unplayable. Unless you are lucky enough to be close to one of their datacenters.
For single player games (or casual mmo grinding) it looks really good though.
