howdy,
I am pondering how to set up my home network once I found a flat here, and was considering WLAN. Specifically, getting a WLAN modem which plugs into the wall, a WLAN mobo (Asus P5K deluxe), and my laptop with Centrino stuffs.
My main concern is that inevitably, all those people prone to DC during our raids answer "yes" if asked if they have WLAN
So my question is, with a properly configured WLAN home network, and around 10 meters and one wall inbetween modem and PC, can I get identical pings as with a ground line (not fussed about 10ms or something, but +100ms would be an issue) and most importantly, a rock-solid connection as I am used to?
would appreciate some input from WoW players on this
