Since steam is now available for Mac, and Portal is free, I signed up. Even knowing that MIGHT be what killed Gala's iMac.

I'm codemonkey_uk, and Steam says I have no friends. I don't want to be codemonkey-no-friends.

my steams fucked, it won't connect to the internet on the program pages, (but it will download games without a problem) and come to think of it, nor will quite a few of my programs - despite me allowin them all on my firewall and my router has nothing banned from acecssing the internet.

any ideas whats wrong?
