It's great fun in multiplayer, but imo felt very repetitive after a short while when playing solo

Is the 15$+ stuff worth it?

It is a bit of fun to play. I don't know how it holds up anymore vs other games. Since you don't need to get the 15+ to get BL2, I'd suggest going for the 6.50+ deal and if it keeps you captivated, you could get the season pass later.
