Tell us about yourself: I’m a 26 year old guy from the Netherlands. In daily life I’m training to become an irl healer, being in the last year of my study medicine. Currently working on my master thesis. Started playing WoW back in 2005 and been playing on and off since then. My priest has always been my main apart from WoD and Legion (although I barely played Legion) where I mained a mage called Zifnab. Other big hobby is music, playing bass guitar in a band. Also trying to learn to play the double bass, which is a bit harder than I first expected…J Battle Tag: Issi#2378 Armory link (or link wowprogress/raider.io): (log out in main spec gear and include any relevant alts) Vuilnisbak (priest – main) https://raider.io/characters/eu/doomhammer/vuilnisbak https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/doomhammer/Vuilnisbak Zifnab (mage – main in WoD and Legion) https://raider.io/characters/eu/doomhammer/Zifnab https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/doomhammer/Zifnab Warcraft Logs: Vuilnisbak; https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/eu/doomhammer/vuilnisbak#difficulty=4 Zifnab (WoD); https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/JxFrHPMCkQ7qafw6#fight=4&type=damage-done Your UI in raid combat: Taken last night; https://imgur.com/a/IEK5WGm Why are you applying to MM? How did you hear about us? Do you know anyone here? I am looking for a guild which has proven to be stable for a prolonged period of time, progressing in mythic, and in need of a healer. I could check all 3 boxes with MM. I heard from MM the first time when Doomhammer merged with Turalyon back in WoD. When raiding with Friday Marines I have also played with some of your members. Why are you leaving your current guild? If we were to look at your guild history, would we find anything concerning? I am currently raiding in Requiem’s 2nd raid team. Joined them after coming back from a long break in Legion just to raid on a very casual level, which was perfect at the time. Now with BFA the idea was to be a bit more structured and progress orientated, which I very much applauded. However, being now 2 months in bfa it has come clear to me that difference in skill level between the members is just too big to ever have any steady mythic progress. Other guilds I have been in are; Vanilla; Crusaders of Azeroth BC and wotlk: Company of Heroes (split from Crusaders of Azeroth) Wotlk – Legion: Vigilantes Raiding experience while current: I’ve been raiding since the moment I hit level 60 on my priest. Vanilla; Cleared everything up till twin emperors in AQ40, and trash in classic Naxxramas… BC: Everything up to 2nd boss in Sunwell Wotlk: Everything up to and including Sindragosa in 25man heroic Cataclysm: Did not play this expansion MoP: Came back to the game during Siege of Orgrimmar, pugged myself to 14/14 mythic with getting cutting edge just 1 week before the prepatch. (Openraid was so awesome..RIP) WoD: - On mage BRF 8/10 mythic, HFC 13/13 mythic Legion: Took a break at start of Legion due to the terrible legendary system. Came back during Antorus. Got up to Varimathras pugging, 3/11 mythic progress with guild. BfA: Currently 7/8 heroic, 1/8 mythic. What is your main spec? How long have you played this? I can play both holy and disc. Been playing both specs from vanilla with 216 days total played and 11 of them at level 120. What is your stat priority? Explain why. Intellect all the way. Secondary I try to aim for mastery as holy and haste as disc. As holy I try to aim for around 10% haste, more gives me the feeling I run out of mana too soon, less feels clunky. Why should we bring your class/spec to a raid? What do you feel is the defining feature of your class/spec? Holy has incredible throughput, on top of that I can bring 2 raid CD’s. Also if I equip a staff then I can rock the coolest transmog ever; full tier 2, benediction, while sitting on my Zulian tiger. What addons do you use to enhance your performance? -Weakaura’s -Bigwigs -Clique Where do you find the latest information in relation to your class? Priest discord channel from warcraftpriests.com has updated information. What do you do outside of a raid to improve your character, play style and performance? I like to do some mythic +, although they can be a pain with pugs on higher keys. Always getting at least my +10 done though. Also the usual artifact farming with expeditions, world quests and emissary’s, neck at level 27 atm. Do you ever change around talents depending on the encounter? If so please, give an example. If certain encounters require certain talents, ofcourse. As holy atm there is no much need to swap from the default. Maybe if a fight where you can’t get optimal halo use you could go for benediction. Personally I prefer binding heal over circle of healing, although both can be used perfectly fine. What is your offspec? How comfortable would you be if we asked you to raid as your offpsec? I can play both holy and disc to the same standard. I haven’t played shadow since… well… Ever I think.. We raid Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 20:00-23:00 Server Time. Are you able to commit to these times and days? Yes, should be able to be there 100%. Can you accept criticism? If not then do not apply, we frown upon shifting blame a lot more than people admitting to mistakes and improving on it. Anything that helps me improve, as long as it is constructive. Do you have a mic? Do you have a proper setup and internet connection to play the game competitively? (that is, at least 30 and ideally more fps in raids) I have a mic. Running Uldir raids with no internet / FPS issues. We all need the occasional raiding day off for various reasons, but we expect these reasons so to be fully disclosed at as early a time as possible to make planning an easier process. Have you any planned absences in the foreseeable future that we should know about? The week around Christmas my girlfriend will probably claim my soul to do all kinds of ‘fun’ things. Do you have anything else to add? Not really. I hope to hear soon from you guys. I will gladly answer questions if anything is unclear.
