Eredar were the demonic warlocks of the Burning Legion. I read they are supposed to be the new alliance race, which is highly unlikely.

NO way....
just looks like it I guess. demons will NEVER be paladins, I'll personally post a ticket every hour to make blizz undo that if it happens :p

One story flying around is that the wisps that sacrificed themselves at hyjal ended up in the demon bodies. These also don't look a million miles away from the other outlands race whose name escapes me right now.
