Something like that. Will Wright is famous for his original game design (Creator of 'The Sims' and their wretched expansion spawns), this not looking to be an exception, and with the funding of EA behind him, I doubt it won't go off to be perhaps an even bigger success than Sims, maybe :wink:

Amazing, now isn't spore already under development since like a year or 2?

Have heared of this quite a few times already and something tells me this isn't new stuff but is again such a game creators have been working on for years and still isn't finished.

I don't mean to say this would be poo, I actually think it will be a huge revolution in the gaming world.

There was this game called Evo, or Eve or something like it, by Squaresoft, I think. It was an old Snes game and also had the option to customise creatures, making them more intelligent etc. by fighting and surviving you'd gain points wich would allow you to evolve further. The 1st phase of Spore is kind of like this; I liked evo a lot so I'd deffo play it.
