The fact that you die at every hit (no shields) is such a huge let down on these types of games.

Yea, I agree, Raptor was better. Or the one where you have to fly this little spaceship from left to right. Don't remember the name.... Star-something I think....

Glad to see some ppl are also into shmups, I have a descent collection to various consoles, but for the PC I must say that Tyrian is the best one. Raptor is also good and Raiden 2 aint too shabby either, but if you like these you should really get Tyrian
