Actually He let Medivh's mom wtfpwn him so he could corrupt her unborn baby and possssesssss him later on, which is why Medivh was evil. Only problem was Medivh got killed and Sargeras ended up "in Limbo", which was Blizzards way of getting rid of him since he is far too powerful to exist in the MMO. Kil'jaeden is now in command of the Burning Legion in Sargeras' absence.
