As stated on the MMO-Champion site:

Forte just dropped the Warglaive of Azzinoth on Illidan. (And World 3rd kill, gratz).

And in the post below:

Congratulations to Last Resort for killing Illidan Stormrage tonight. This is the world 2nd kill (well, 3rd, but world 2nd guild).
They dropped the Crystal Spire of Karabor ,a dagger (see below) and the regular 2 x Tier 6 chest tokens, etc ....

- "a dagger" being the epic above.

So yea, dropped legendary, but Stuv linked the wrong piccy for it.
