Console-like games for PC?

Howdy guys,
can anyone recommend some console-like games for the PC?

Essentially, games that can be played by 2 people with 2 gamepads on the TV and understood by the gf.

I've got Street Fighter IV and Burnout: Paradise so far. How's PS2 emulation? Whether the games are brand-new or oldish doesn't matter. Something like Super Monkey ball would be neat

Also, how's PS2 and/or Gamecube emulation? In a state that makes certain games actually enjoyable?

p.s.: I hate missing WoW, give 30 hour days

You should try Command & Conquer, thats a fabulous game if you've ever played it. Tiberium Wars is a brilliant game.

This actually works waaaay way better than expected I wrote a small launcher program, and along with some scripting tools for Windows, I just have to press Start on the controller and get a menu of 15 games or so on the TV which can all be controlled from start to finish with the gamepad. It's like having a console that doesn't suck!

Gamepad 2-player games so far:
Street Fighter IV
all LEGO xy (awesomeness and gf-friendly!)
Trine
GLTron
Audiosurf.

Other gamepad games:
Fallout 3
Burnout Paradise
Devil May Cry 4
Prince of Persia

etc
