Command and Conquer 4 !!

New Command & Conquer is set to come out, it follows Tiberium Wars and will be the last of the tiberium wars game set, trailer looks pretty good, due out 2010!

tiberium wars was good, so was uri's revenge etc, but when they started bringing out flamin big giant robot things with the empire of the sun.... yeah that kinda ruined that game.. so fingers crossed this one is alot more promising.....hehe

They did a great job in the co-op versions of the RA3 game tho. Really progress in the multiplayer gameplay.

remember that there's a huge difference in game atmosphere between the C&C-Tiberium series and the Red Alert series. The RA series has always been a tongue-in-cheek, wink-wink style game and the Empire of the Sun fits perfectly in that style. It was also the one refreshing new thing since EA first started on this series. I didn't like them, didn't like to play with or against them, but I do support the concept.

RA and C&C definately borrow from each other. But in the end they target a different group of people and support a different style of game.

Oh! And of course!

Dune > C&C (too bad the Dune developers sucked and completely botched up Dune Emperor, forever dooming the series)

I liked Generals. AURORAAAAAAAAAS were awesome fun to micro, nukes on command anywhere on the map \o/

Yeah generals was awesome, Laser general ftw defend with about 50 turrets and ion cannon any WMDs = win win

Chinese infantry general was way better. Could just brute force any defense.
Throw in a couple of overlords after theyve marched in and you're done.

If you had enough laser turrets (and ofc power to power them) It was impossible for a rush to take your base, the added bonus of the laser turrets was that aircraft were nuked also.

OMG all this talk of generals i must go reinstall

Aircraft general was pretty awesome, could build enough aircraft early enough to destroy some pretty important bits of other peoples bases when combined with the extra powers.

Big change in this game when it comes to RTS eh.


NO basebuilding
NO resource collecting!!
NO LAN support, just like SC2!

You will have one giant robot thing from where you can "buy" upgrades and units from XP you get (for example; killing enemy units gives XP now and you can use that to buy upgrades, not sure if it goes for buying units too)
